Today is rainy in NYC. Gray. Dark. Cold. Ick.
But even those these rooms use the same color palette as the sky outside, they seem warm and cozy.

Leather and Burlap
I have been seeing a ton of leather and fabric combinations in fall fashion. I especially love this jacket from Lulu's (sadly, it's out of stock).

Adore Home Magazine
This month's issue of Adore Home Magazine featured a kitchen with black cabinets and backsplash. Although the designer doesn't say, it looks like the backsplash is made of black tin. Amazing!

Hot Pink and Black
Sometimes I wish I had the guts to paint my walls black and buy all hot pink furniture. And then I realize that would be crazy. Maybe I'll just dye the bottom of my hair pink!

Red, White & Black
I recently bought a pair of red pumps and have been trying to figure out how to wear them more often. I have been playing it safe by wearing them with a simple black dress. But I saw these two dresses on Net-A-Porter and am inspired to be brave!

Even the model has on red pumps. How can I go wrong?? Now, where to find a black and white striped dress that isn't $400... That will take some work.

Speaking of red, white and black, check out this amazing living room, designed by Miles Redd (I am sure he meant no pun). It's bold and strong, yet looks very cozy. I'd love to have a statement piece of art on my wall just the one hanging above the couch. I think I could replicate it <>worried look<>. Maybe for my next project :)
